(...) I believe happiness comes from freedom. Freedom from ties and bonds. Freedom from identification, from projections, likes, dislikes, wants... attachments...
Don't travel as a form of escapism because whatever you're running away from is in you, and will follow you until you face it.
For some reason this city brought up this thought.
Patrick and I have become good friends. Very interesting conversations, good moments of silence, respect for the other's space. We ride together or meet up someplace along the way. I'm a solo traveller, but sometimes it feels very good to have company, and to visit this dazzling city during the night you're better off with a friend - especially if you're shooting and not paying much attention to where you go (not to mention not knowing how to go back to the place where you're staying...)
